Before buying a tissue paper product, you must look at the implementation standards, hygiene standards and production materials. We screen toilet paper products from the following aspects:
1. Which implementation standard is better, GB or QB?
There are two Chinese implementation standards for paper towels, starting with GB and QB.
GB is based on the meaning of China’s national standards. National standards are divided into mandatory standards and recommended standards. Q is based on enterprise standards, mainly for internal technical management, production and operation, and customized by enterprises.
Generally speaking, enterprise standards will not be lower than national standards, so there is no saying that enterprise standards are better or national standards are better, both meet the requirements.
2. Implementation standards for paper towels
There are two types of paper we come into contact with daily, namely facial tissue and toilet paper
Implementation standards for paper towels: GB/T20808-2022, total colony count less than 200CFU/g
Sanitary standards: GB15979, which is a mandatory implementation standard
Product raw materials: virgin wood pulp, virgin non-wood pulp, virgin bamboo pulp
Use: wiping mouth, wiping face, etc.
Implementation standards for toilet paper: GB20810-2018, total colony count less than 600CFU/g
There is no hygienic implementation standard. The requirements for toilet paper are only for the microbial content of the paper product itself, and are not as strict as those for paper towels.
Product raw materials: virgin pulp, recycled pulp, virgin bamboo pulp
Use: toilet paper, wiping private parts
3. How to judge the quality of raw materials?
✅Virgin wood pulp/virgin bamboo pulp>virgin pulp>pure wood pulp>mixed pulp
Virgin wood pulp/virgin bamboo pulp: refers to completely natural pulp, which is the highest quality.
Virgin pulp: refers to pulp made from natural plant fibers, but not necessarily from wood. It is usually grass pulp or a mixture of grass pulp and wood pulp.
Pure wood pulp: means that the pulp raw material is 100% from wood. For toilet paper, pure wood pulp may also be recycled pulp.
Mixed pulp: The name does not contain the word “virgin”, which means recycled pulp is used. It is generally made of recycled pulp and part of virgin pulp.
When choosing the toilet paper products, try to choose products made of virgin wood pulp/virgin bamboo pulp, which are more comfortable to use, more environmentally friendly and hygienic. The natural bamboo pulp products produced by Yashi Paper are an ideal choice for consumers.
