Environmental pollution during toilet paper making process

toilet paper industry in the production of wastewater, waste gas, waste residue, toxic substances and noise can cause serious pollution of the environment, its control, prevention or elimination of treatment, so that the surrounding environment is not affected or less affected, has become an important part of the toilet paper industry. toilet paper industry to water pollution is serious, with, drainage (generally more than 300 tonnes of water per tonne of pulp and toilet paper), wastewater in the high content of organic matter, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) high, suspended solids (SS) more, and contains toxic substances, with a colour with a peculiar smell, endangering the normal growth of aquatic organisms, affecting the industrial, agricultural and animal husbandry and residents of the water and environmental landscaping. Accumulation over the years, suspended solids will silt the riverbed harbour, and produce hydrogen sulphide toxic odour, far-reaching harm.

Pollution sources The main processes in the toilet paper industry are raw material preparation, pulping, alkali recovery, bleaching, toilet paper copying and so on. The raw material preparation process produces dust, bark, wood chips, grass end; pulping and alkali recovery, bleaching process produces exhaust gas, dust, wastewater, lime residue, etc.; toilet paper copying process produces white water, all contain pollutants. The pollution of the toilet paper industry to the environment can be divided into 3 categories of water pollution (Table 1), air pollution (Table 2) and solid waste pollution.

Solid wastes are rotting pulp, pulp slag, bark, broken wood chips, grass, grass roots, grass, silica-containing white mud, lime slag, sulfuric iron ore slag, coal ash slag, etc., which encroach on the site, leaching out of the turbid water to pollute the water body and groundwater sources. Noise nuisance, is also a major problem in the toilet paper industry.

Pollution prevention and control can be divided into two categories: on-site harmless treatment and off-site wastewater treatment.

Yashi toilet paper are pulped through the entire physical process. The production process does no harm to the human body. The finished product has no harmful chemical residues and is healthy and safe. Use natural gas instead of traditional fuel to avoid smoke pollution in the air. Eliminate the bleaching process, retain the original color of plant fibers, reduce production water consumption, avoid the discharge of bleaching sewage, and protect the environment.
